Questions

Everything about your scent DNA card, the matches and the plan, in plain words.

The plan

Is it free?
Looking up any perfume's notes and your DNA card with your top 3 notes are free. The full match list, the HD card, up to 30 bottles and monthly new-launch picks are $3.99 a month after a 7-day free trial.
Do I need a card?
Not for the free card. To start the 7-day trial, Stripe asks for a card but charges nothing until day 8, and you can cancel before then in one click.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your account, in one click.
Why monthly?
New perfumes come out every week. Each month we check the new launches against your DNA and send you the ones that match.

The notes

Where do the notes come from?
From a licensed fragrance database (FragDB) of over 140,000 perfumes, refreshed about three times a month. We show the notes as the brands published them: names, accords, brand and year. No photos, reviews or ratings from anyone else.
Can I look up one perfume?
Yes, free and without an account: the perfume notes lookup shows any perfume's top, middle and base notes.
How is my DNA worked out?
Each of your perfumes becomes a list of its notes and main accords, weighted by how strongly each one shows in the pyramid. We add them up across your bottles and rank what recurs: first by how many of your bottles have it, then by how strong it is. The top one is your headline.

The matches

Will a match smell the same?
Not always. Two perfumes with the same notes can smell different on your skin. Matches tell you what to sample first, not what to blind buy.
How are matches picked?
We compare your combined notes with thousands of perfumes and rank them by how much they overlap, leaving out the bottles you already own. Each match shows the notes it shares with you. Subscribers can also hide perfumes with notes they avoid.
Who writes the line under each match?
A short sentence is written by AI from the shared notes we computed. The notes, the perfumes and the scores always come from the data, never from the AI.

Who it's for

For anyone who owns a few perfumes, buys dupes, follows PerfumeTok, or just wants to know why some bottles get worn and others sit on the shelf. No perfume vocabulary needed.
